Kern
Kern is a monthly newsletter for the Art Directors Club of Tulsa. I chose the concept “Creative Spaces,” and featured several creative work spaces around the world. It also included one spread on a local creative agency.
Vidoop Website
This was the last version of the Vidoop corporate website I designed. I created all the graphics and worked closely with developers. I also provided the flash content featured on the home page which included a rotating main graphic and a quote box that used xml+flash to rotate recent news clips about Vidoop.
8 x 8
8x8 was an event for the Art Directors of Tulsa. The format was 8 guest speakers talk for 8 minutes each.
Common Ground Catalog
Common Ground was the theme for the exhibition catalog. it featured the recent works by the University of Tulsa Faculty of Art.
Identity Brochure
This brochure was created to focus on Vidoop’s Online Identity audience. It relied on emotional imagery and highlighted the frustration users have with their online identity experience. This brochure was also designed to be useful after the tradeshow, as it could be mailed to a potential client.
Graphex 39
Why should you have entered Graphex 39 Regional Design Competition? This call for entries highlighted 39 specific reasons to enter. Some people entered for the glory, the sweet Graphex glory. Others entered to make their momma proud. Whatever the reason people decided to enter, it turned out that entries were up from the year before and the results equaled more money for student scholarships. I was responsible for the design, concept, and wrote all 39 reasons. I was also chairperson for the event.
Bladen County Records Website
I worked with Switchyard Creative in PDX to revamp Bladen County Records Website. I created the graphics for the site & Switchyard created the structure and development of the site.
Little Black Dress Exhibition
This exhibition introduces the new work of 12 artists of varying media and location inspired by a collection of vintage black dresses. I created all the support design materials for this exhibition including a press kit, promotional postcard, and the exhibition catalog. The press kit featured a small handmade black dress attached to the white classic columns folder and helped to create a buzz for the exhibition.
Vidoop Rockstar T-Shirts
Vidoop embraced it’s employees as rockstars from the beginning and wanted to keep that rockstar theme going as they made their debut at the Web 2.0 tradeshow in San Francisco in 2007. I created three original rockstar t-shirts using the shield from the logo. The shirts were given away to people who stopped by the Vidoop booth on the tradeshow floor. They generated traffic for a company just coming out of beta whom people had only just recently heard of and were in high demand ever since.
